Turnz-U-A-Round: I have been turning on the lathe for over 20 years, concentrating mostly on pens and small vessels. Most of the items I have turned have been for gifts to family and friends, with an occasional sale. However, as my craft flourished, I decided, along with encouragement from those same family and friends to offer my art to others. Each piece is hand-turned in my workshop one at a time, never rushing the process, therefore ensuring a work of art that exudes quality in a well-fitted and finished pen that you or the recipient will treasure for years to come. If a turning does not meet my own personal high-quality standards, then it simply will not be listed or sold. My belief is that when you pull that pen out to use it, it should have the "WOW" factor and will be complimented, looked at, and admired. Each pen starts with bare materials such as wood, acrylic or other medium and paired with quality platings. The pens are carefully finished to ensure durability with daily use. Using a pen such as this, gives you the feeling such as wearing that old favorite shirt...the more you wear it or use it, the better it feels!
